Terms of service
ABill is a free iOS app for managing receipts. By installing and using it, you accept these terms.
1. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ABill on your devices. The app, its name, its interface and its code remain our property.
2. No account required
ABill requires no sign-up, no account of its own and no login. Your receipts and their images are stored on your device and, if you keep sync on, in your private iCloud (through your existing Apple Account): they belong to you and stay under your control.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to extract the app's source code;
- resell, rent or redistribute the app;
- use the app for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
4. Text recognition and accuracy
The automatic recognition (OCR) of the merchant, date and amount relies on a heuristic analysis: it can be wrong. The app is provided "as is", without warranty. You are responsible for checking the extracted information, especially amounts.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for any data loss or damage arising from the use of the app. Remember to keep backups of your important data.
6. Changes
These terms may change along with the app. The update date above reflects the latest version in force.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
